Special occasion to buy old vintages of our red wines, they are all in perfect condition to be tasted, we have grouped them in packs to be able to do vertical tastings.
As the stocks of some vintages are very limited when they run out they will be withdrawn from the offer.
Old Vintages Extra Range Pack
It is the most complete pack, there are all the available vintages of Mas Sinén Coster and Mas Sinén Negre, through the different vintages you can see the evolution of these two exceptional wines, this pack represents the recent history of the Priorat.
Coster
It is our most outstanding wine, it gets the best scores from the experts, it is made with grapes from vineyards over 60 years old grown on the coast in front of the Mas Sinén. The production depends on the year, but it is usually around 1,500 to 2,000 bottles, the year 2008 could not be produced. The varieties used are Garnacha and Cariñena.
In 2005, the first Mas Sinén Coster was made, it was an exceptional vintage and therefore an excellent time to start producing this wine. The 2006 vintage was very balanced and the wine is characterized by its elegance, the 2007 vintage is very intense and deep, offering the maximum expression of black fruit.
Coster 2010 – 2011 – 2012 Pack
These three years had a very dry climate, but despite (or thanks) that the wines were very good, it could be said that each vintage is better, they are very expressive vintages with the intensity and elegance of the Coster. To further highlight this elegance, the label was changed to a simpler and more appropriate design.
Mas Sinén Negre
Our most representative wine is made with grapes from the Mas Sinén vineyards. It is a great wine from Priorat. The vines were planted by Salvador and cultivated from the very beginning according to the principles of organic farming. The varieties used are Garnacha and Cariñena accompanied by Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
Mas Sinén 2003 – 2004 – 2005 Pack
They are the first Mas Sinén Negre to be made. From the 2003 vintage, 3,000 bottles were produced, a few remain that are now put on sale in this bundle. The 2004 vintage was extraordinary, one of the best vintages of the Priory and it is a wine that has improved over time. The 2005 vintage was very good and complements this special pack.
Mas Sinén 2006 – 2007 – 2008 Pack
Three very good vintages that have been superbly preserved and in which you can appreciate the evolution of the winery towards increasingly better-made wines. You can see the change of the label in 2008.
Mas Sinén 2009 – 2010 – 2011 Pack
The 2009 vintage was once again extraordinary for Mas Sinén Negre, those of 2010 and 2011 can be described as fantastic since they are wines that withstand the passage of time very well.
Mas Sinén 2013 – 2014 – 2015 Pack
They are vintages of which few units remain since when they were put up for sale they were years in which a lot was exported. The 2013 vintage was extraordinary and the 2015 vintage is memorable due to its expressiveness.
Petit Mas Sinén 2009 – 2010 – 2011 – 2013 – 2015 – 2016
Petit Mas Sinén is a wine that was born in 2009, it is a wine with less aging (6 months in the barrel), but it has authentic fans thanks to the excellent value for money. As an anecdote, we will tell you that there is a customer who makes a purchase of 50 boxes annually. This pack allows you to see how it has evolved from its beginnings to the end, because it has now been replaced by the Mas Sinén La Vall.
